Moments

Thu Oct 11, 2007, 12:29 AM
It is said that an opportunity cannot be seen or felt, until you actually passed it and looked back.

Is there any second chance? In terms of opportunties, no, there isn't. There might be similar opportunities, but there will be no identical opportunities. Once you passed it, its gone.

Relating this to photography, photos contain moments. I felt that the unique aspect of it is that it is actually capture moments. By freezing a glimpse of second in time, we capture opportunities.

And with that ability, we gain conscious that moments are valuable because it is unique, it defines, it explains.

Value time, capture moments, take a cup and coffee, and glance a photograph. It make sense...

  • Mood: Tired
  • Eating: junkies
  • Drinking: tap water

Just wondering how does a picture stands out from others...is it perspective? is it composition? is it aftertouch?

Just coming back from Tofino, it was raining quite hard =( but nonetheless I still able to shoot some great sceneries out of it. 3 hrs driving, it is quite exhausting. But, it is easy to relax there because the ocean waves really soothes my brain. Certainly, one day trip is not enough to enjoy this place.
